21 марта 2024

The Board of the EEC removed restrictions on weight and dimensions for the sale of goods in Duty Free stores. Earlier it prohibited the sale of products weighing more than 20 kg and goods with the sum of dimensions in length, width and height of more than 200 cm. The ban was also lifted on goods subject to export customs duties, if they are prepared for retail sale and packaged in consumer containers in the form of finished products.

As noted the EEC, the decision was taken within the framework of the relevant request of the EAEU business community in order to expand the assortment in duty-free stores. At the same time, the previous restrictions will remain in force in Armenia.
