Belarusians and Russians, who regularly visit Belarus and Russia, are going to be deprived of a residence permit in Lithuania. The corresponding amendment was registered in the Lithuanian Seimas.
The text of the document states that these people may allegedly " be recruited and ask to perform certain intelligence functions" while visiting neighboring countries.
Lithuanian deputies propose to cancel the temporary residence permit, issued to citizens of Belarus and Russia, if they've left Lithuania more than once a month over the past year. The Seimas proposes to deprive the citizens of temporary residence permits for "public approval" of Russia's actions in Ukraine.
