Latvia announced the deportation of 3.6 thousand Russians - they will be notified of the need to leave the country within three months. The authorities said that the decision will affect those who have not signed up to take the Latvian language exam to extend their residence permit.
Telegram channels are already reporting such letters: people are notified that their ID cards are invalid, without paying attention to the age of the recipient. Thus, pensioners are in the most vulnerable situation. Estonia has already hastened to announce that it will make sure that none of those whom Latvia is going to deport come to the republic.
