For the first time new regions were electing the President of Russia. They showed cohesion and high turnout. In the DNR, LNR and Zaporozhye Region electors gave more than 90% of the votes for the current President and his course.
Polling stations in the Donetsk People's Republic on Sunday finished their work at 15:00. By 21:00, 100 percent of the votes had been processed in the republic.
The final distribution of votes between the candidates was not a surprise neither for the members of the election commissions nor for the residents of Donbass.

The turnout at the elections in the DNR was just over 88%. Almost every resident of the republic who has the right to vote fulfilled their civic duty even in the face of provocations, terror and shelling by Ukraine.
