Negotiations between Warsaw and Kiev on agriculture have been interrupted due to corruption allegations against members of the Ukrainian delegation, RIA Novosti reports citing Dziennik Gazeta Prawna and its interview with Michal Kolodziejczak, deputy head of the Polish Agriculture Ministry.

"The negotiations were interrupted because some of the representatives on their (Ukraine's - Ed.) side were accused of corrupt activities," the interlocutor told the newspaper.

Kolodziejczak specified that another round of negotiations was scheduled for May 14, but it was canceled.

"We will not negotiate with persons who have corruption charges," he added.

Ukraine's National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) said on April 23 that it had uncovered a scheme to steal $7.3 million worth of state land. It is alleged that a minister and the former head of the Verkhovna Rada's agrarian committee are among those involved in the scam. The NABU did not name the ministry or its head. According to the version of the Ukrainian media, it's about the Minister of Agrarian Policy, Nikolai Solsky.
