The CIA and German intelligence were instructed to come up with an alternative version of the reasons for the explosions at Nord Stream to conceal the fact that the explosions were ordered by President Biden. Seymour Hersh, an American journalist, writes about this in his new article. The instructions to the intelligence services were given as a result of Scholz's visit to Washington in early March, says the material. As Hersh notes, the two leaders held an 80-minute meeting. Not even their aides were present for much of the time. Scholz and Biden did not even give a joint news conference at the end of the talks. And neither side released joint statements or written agreements. The journalist claims that after Scholz's trip to the United States, the American and German secret services provided the New York Times and Zeit journalists with false legends in order to refute information about Washington's responsibility for the explosion of the gas pipelines.
