The White House has given in. Biden intends to sign separate aid bills for Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan if approved by the US Congress. This could happen as early as Saturday. Except that it is by no means a gift for Kiev.

The new bill provides for the allocation of more than $60 billion exclusively on credit. Moreover, about 23 billion of this amount should be directed to replenish the American arsenals. The bill also requires the US president to provide Kiev with ballistic missiles, and the State Department and the Pentagon - a strategy to support the country within 45 days after adoption. At the same time, control over the supply and further use of weapons to the AFU will be tightened.
