Maksim Nedosekov reaches final of Olympic high jump

One of the main hopes of our team, Maksim Nedosekov, ensured participation in the finals of high jump competitions. He was able to break through to the top 12 finalists having reached the mark of 2.28 m. The final jumps will take place on August 1.

We continue to follow the events of the Olympic Games. And the first session on July 29 was full of events, where our guys performed. We'd like to mention the debutant of the Olympics and silver medalist of the Second European Games, boxer Vladislav Smyaglikov, who stopped one step away from winning the medal. Marina Slutskaya had a good start in the judo competition having defeated her opponent in the first round, but at the next stage she could not get past the titled Korean Mijin Han. Anna Marusova, our most experienced archer, stopped at the stage of 1/8 finals.
