Olympic Council of Asia invites Russia and Belarus to participate in Asian Games

The Olympic Council of Asia has invited Russia and Belarus to participate in the Asian Games and the International Olympic Committee has welcomed the decision. The next Asian Summer Games will be held in Hangzhou, China, this year from September 23 to October 8. A little earlier the International Olympic Committee had already created a roadmap for the return of the Belarusians and Russians to the big tournaments. It is known that they will be admitted to the competitions in neutral status. And only those athletes who do not violate the Olympic Charter will be admitted, as well as those who will successfully pass certain individual interviews or inspections. Reportedly, the events in Ukraine may be the subject of conversation. Control will be carried out by international sports federations.
