Dina Sazanovets has confirmed her status of Europe’s best weightlifter by winning the gold at the European Weightlifting Championship in Tbilisi for the second year in a row. In the 69 kg weight category, the Belarusian lifted 115 kilograms in the snatch and 140 kg in the clean and jerk. Marina Shkermankova ranks fourth in the same category.
In the 85 kg weight category among men, the bronze went to Mikhail Novikov with a total result of 366 kg in the double-event.
