Presidents of Belarus and Uzbekistan meet in Tashkent

Alexander Lukashenko and Shavkat Mirziyoyev meet in the format of "one by one", after which they will be joined by members of delegations.

The leaders of the two countries will discuss cooperation on a series of issues, from industry and agriculture to the humanitarian sphere and tourism, development of regional cooperation, production cooperation, creation of assembly enterprises in Uzbekistan. Alexander Lukashenko and Shavkat Mersiyoyev will exchange views on the urgent issues of the regional and international agenda, and following the talks, a package of documents will be signed.

The trade turnover of the countries increased more than twice to 130 million dollars. The trend is maintained. The heads of state plan to visit the Belarusian-Uzbek enterprise Amkodor-Agro-Techmash, as well as the exhibition of producers Made in Belarus, in which more than 150 Belarusian companies participate.
