Belarus’ President has left for an official visit to Bashkortostan’s Ufa to participate in BRICS and Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summits. Alexander Lukashenko is planned to meet with the leaders of BRICS countries and invited countries to discuss topical issues of global politics, economy and finance and hold a number of bilateral talks.
Currently Belarus carries the status of dialogue partner in the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation and is hoping to being promoted to an observer in the near future.
