President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko sent greetings to the participants of the First Belarusian Philosophical Congress "National Philosophy in Global World".
"Belarus is proud of the rich history of its school of philosophical knowledge. Our land since ancient times was famous for thinkers, whose works created examples of astute scientific search, spiritual insight and creativity, "the greeting says.
The head of state noted that Belarusian culture made its tangible contribution to the creation of a system of people's worldview. Spiritual aspirations of the nation were embodied in such traditional values, as good-neighborliness, humanism and social justice. " Belarus has earned the reputation of an island of stability and harmony, successfully promoting peace initiatives on the international arena," the President stressed.
Alexander Lukashenko expressed his confidence that the First Belarusian Philosophical Congress will contribute to a better understanding of the country's development prospects and will play a significant role in strengthening cooperation and partnership between peoples.
