President Alexander Lukashenko pointed out that the first and the second power units of the Belarusian NPP are scheduled to be commissioned in 2018 and 2020 respectively and expressed hope that the deadlines would not be violated. The President was told that the construction of the Belarusian NPP was being carried out on schedule and Russia’s experience would be adopted in training nuclear power specialists.
In addition, the President was updated on the construction of social facilities for NPP construction workers and future operation participants, who will be guaranteed a decent salary and comfortable accommodation, as stressed by Alexander Lukashenko. But since the state can not provide free apartments, it is necessary to focus on the fact that the experts themselves are able to pay part of the funds, for example for rental housing.
