By the end of the five-year plan, the motorcycle-bicycle plant should become an exemplary production. Alexander Lukashenko said this during his visit to the plant. The head of state was offered a solution to the problematic issues regarding the accumulated debt obligations of the plant. The President as a whole approved it and instructed to prepare a corresponding draft decree. The head of state is currently focusing on the prospects for the development of domestic motorcycle and bicycle equipment. The President announced his intention to visit the production facilities on February 16. Then Alexander Lukashenko demanded to develop a clear, comprehensive plan for the enterprise.

The President emphasized work on localization. It is important to organize our production of parts and accessories, while they are imported. Alexander Lukashenko conducted a kind of revision of the capabilities of the plant. The head of state is against the demolition of buildings that may still serve. It is necessary to deal with the undesirable premises before the fall.  First of all, it is important to resolve the issue of working conditions. They are as uncomfortable as possible. Alexander Lukashenko promised the workers that the situation in this building of the motorcycle-bicycle factory will be improved by winter. He supervises the orders.

The President spoke about the decision to locate Minsk Technopark in the current territory of "Motovelo", but the main production here will remain the manufacture of motorcycles. "We must create it on the basis of the third building. It will be the best, most beautiful, and advanced enterprise where one will work and double the production of equipment in the five-year period," Alexander Lukashenko noted.

"We will keep this site clean. There will be no casting, no oil products. And another feature of this Technopark will be thе exclusive production," Alexander Lukashenko stressed.  "No intermediaries and even no trade, except only if people work for export."

It is necessary to protect the Belarusian manufacturer, as noted by the head of state while speaking with the plant's staff. Domestic products now occupy only about a third of the bicycle market in Belarus. Over the next five years, this share must first be increased to 50-60%. The President was also asked about his healthy lifestyle habits.
