President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia Vyacheslav Volodin on his jubilee, BelTA reports.
"Your purposefulness, profound knowledge and ability to work with full dedication contribute to the successful solution of important tasks in the field of lawmaking, defending national interests in the most difficult and responsible areas of state policy," the message of congratulations reads.
The head of state noted that Vyacheslav Volodin is a convinced supporter of Belarusian-Russian integration, its progressive development for the benefit of the two brotherly countries and peoples. "Under your experienced leadership, the inter-parliamentary cooperation within the framework of the Union State and the Collective Security Treaty Organization is effectively expanding. We are grateful for your support and assistance in the productive implementation of the initiatives of the Republic of Belarus at these authoritative platforms in bilateral and multilateral formats," the President emphasized.
