Just over an hour ago the President’s board landed at a military base at Ciampino Airport in Rome.
At the airport building the Head of State held a brief conversation with Director of the Diplomatic Protocol Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy Cristiano Cottafavi.
Alexander Lukashenko will hold talks with President of Italy Sergio Mattarella today. At the meeting the whole range of Belarusian-Italian relations will be considered, with emphasis on trade, economic and investment cooperation. Special attention will be paid to the formation of the regulatory framework of bilateral cooperation. Today more than 200 joint ventures are being developed in Belarus.
