Attracting investment, improving business environment and priorities in international cooperation are the main topics of the President's meeting with the government, which is taking place at the Palace of Independence.
The today's agenda covers not only intra-Belarusian issues. Thus, it is planned to discuss the topic of cooperation with Russia. By 2021, Belarus and Russia expect to come to common industrial markets. It is not only about the oil and gas sector, but also about industrial products, agricultural and transport markets.
The meeting will also discuss issues of improving business environment and increasing the investment attractiveness of our country. Belarus has continued the path of liberalization of business. The country increased the number of sole traders and the amount of taxes paid by them. And according to the results of 2018 in the ranking of Doing Business (this is a navigator for the entire business community) Belarus is on the 37th position out of 190 countries. Our country plans to enter the top thirty.
