President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has denied the information that the Wagner PMC intends to arrange a provocation from Belarus before the NATO summit. The Head of State said so at the ceremony of awarding the epaulettes to the senior officers, revealing details of the talks with the head of Wagner PMC Prigozhin on June 24, BelTA informs.

Alexander Lukashenko commented on the recent news reports that Yevgeny Prigozhin's visit to Belarus is "just another mission for the Kremlin".

"So Prigozhin is here allegedly by the assignment of the Kremlin, during which he can arrange provocations against the upcoming NATO summit in Vilnius. No, we are not going to have any provocations. But if we needed a provocation, I have thousands of military men on the western direction. Just give them a command - they will organize any provocation. But we do not need it. What do we need this provocation for? What will it do? Well, we'll scare them in Vilnius, and what? We'll get the same in return. Therefore, there is no need," said the President.
