The establishment of a full-fledged economic union remains a priority task in the EAEU. This was stated by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko at a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, BelTA informs.

"Creating a full-fledged economic union remains a priority task for all of us. Everyone notes the progress in this matter, but I stand by my previous position: there should be neither barriers nor restrictions! "This is the basic principle of our union, and we must reach the goal in the near future," said the Belarusian leader.

Alexander Lukashenko pointed out to the great work on the formation of a common market for public and municipal purchases. "Not without problems, but the public procurement market is functioning. However, the agreement on mutual recognition of bank guarantees in public procurement and the rules of mutual recognition of electronic digital signatures must be signed and come into force as soon as possible in order to ensure its further full development," said the head of state.

Moreover, there is a reserve for expansion of the corresponding sector of economic relations. In addition to public procurement there is the sphere of state corporations. "I believe that the removal of restrictions on access to procurement by government corporations will have a positive impact on the economy of the Union," said Alexander Lukashenko.
