The President noted that under current conditions Belarus is an island of security on the Eurasian continent. And high-quality protection of the border requires significant financial costs.
Alexander Lukashenko also asked to check the practical activities of the border service bodies. Last year, the monitoring was conducted by the State Secretariat of the Security Council.
