Belarus ready to develop mutually beneficial investment cooperation with Belgium

President Alexander Lukashenko announced Belarus’ readiness to develop mutually beneficial investment cooperation with Belgium at a meeting with Belgian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Didier Reynders.

Over a quarter century of Minsk-Brussels diplomatic relations fruitful ties have been established in economy, science, education, culture and sports. The volume of mutual trade has recently exceeded 300 million dollars. However, despite the fact that cooperation with a number of Belgian companies has been established, this figure far fr om being the lim it, the Belarusian President pointed out. The two countries are aimed at a comprehensive intensification of relations.

In turn, Didier Reynders confirmed Belgium's readiness to build up cooperation with Belarus in a wide range of directions.
