Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko presented state awards yesterday to 39 people, with doctors, agrarians, military men, teachers, art workers, athletes and representatives of law enforcement agencies being among them. The awardees multiply the glory of past generations by demonstrating exemplary duty fulfillment and personal courage. The new medal For Saved Life was presented for the first time.
Alexander Lukashenko congratulated everyone on Independence Day and the prestigious state awards, pointing out that the contribution of every worthy citizen will be recognized. The President thanked economic sector representatives for professionalism and ensuring high performance.
The state award presentation was followed by communication in an informal atmosphere, the awardees taken on a tour of the Independence Palace.
