This was stated today at a meeting of President Alexander Lukashenko and Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Artur Rasizade. During the meeting Alexander Lukashenko stressed once again that Belarus is ready to cooperate with Azerbaijan in all areas. President Alexander Lukashenko has awarded the Order of Friendship of Peoples to the Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Artur Rasizade.

Even 10 years ago the automobile plant in Azerbaijan's city of Ganja was only on paper. Who would have thought that just in a couple of years it will become a symbol of the Belarusian-Azerbaijani relations. Over the past 8 years, the assembly line produced 10 million units of Belarusian cars.

The leaders of Belarus and Azerbaijan have repeatedly stressed that the relations are distinguished by sincerity and reliability, there are no closed topics. Without exceptions, the countries are ready to cooperate in all areas. Delegations from Azerbaijan are always welcome in our country. Belarus is always ready to create warm business climate for Azerbaijani investors.

Azerbaijan has developed a comprehensive program of development up to 2020. Belarus has a special role of a strategic partner. In November Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev is expected to pay an official visit to Belarus.
