Alexander Lukashenko to deliver State of the Nation Address on 21 April

On Friday, 21 April, the Belarusian President will address the nation and the National Assembly. The event is the constitutional duty of the President. On this day, the entire political and business elite gathers in the Oval Hall. The deputies of the House of Representatives and the Council of the Republic are present, too. Government officials, top managers of state agencies and major enterprises, media officials, and diplomats are invited, too. The President expresses his point of view on the key issues of life in Belarus, analyzes the situation, and outlines important points of the country's development strategy.

TV channels "Belarus 1" and "Belarus 24", as well as First National Channel of the Belarusian Radio, will broadcast the event from the parliament live. The broadcast will begin at 10 am. The TV version of the State of the Nation Address will be aired by Belarusian TV channels in the evening.
