The EU has purchased record volumes of Russian LNG. The same Baltic States imported 90 thousand tons of vegetables and more than 70 thousand tons of grain products exactly from the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus. Western countries trade as they used to trade, even more than before.
When asked by ATN correspondent Maria Petrashko, when the hypocrisy of the West will end, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said that this hypocrisy fades when the Western countries look at their reflection in the mirror. This happens, as a rule, as a result of some cataclysms, collapses, some internal strong shocks. "That's when they see themselves from the outside, when some historical fractures take place or they are shown them from the outside, that's when something changes," said the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
According to Maria Zakharova, the Western countries themselves will not be able to outgrow it.
