Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus Pavel Vziatkin presented credentials to President of the Republic of Uganda Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, the Belarusian Foreign Ministry told reporters.
The parties also discussed the promising areas of partnership between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Uganda with a focus on economic cooperation and development of the legal framework.
The Ugandan leader warmly recalled his visit to the Republic of Belarus in 2000 and his meeting with Belarusian head of state Alexander Lukashenko. He noted that he would be pleased to receive the President of Belarus in Uganda.
