Series of working subgroups on resolving conflict in Eastern Ukraine to launch their work in Minsk today

According to the Belarusian Foreign Ministry, working subgroups on resolving the conflict in Eastern Ukraine are ready for holding meetings. The political subgroup will be the first to meet in the next few hours to be joined by the economy and security subgroups tomorrow.

Meanwhile, it has been reported that the meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group previously scheduled for 10 February has been postponed until a later date. It is likely to take place after talks of the Normandy Four’s Foreign Ministers. According to TASS, the Foreign Ministers of Russia, Ukraine, France and Germany will meet later this week in Munich, where a three-day Security Conference is due to begin on 12 February.
