It is a return visit. In March President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko visited this country. A number of agreements and contracts were signed. Singapore is an ideal place for promoting Belarusian products to the Asian and Pacific Rim. Alexander Lukashenko also considers participation of Singapore companies in privatization of Belarusian enterprises promising. Among other things the countries agreed on creation of joint ventures to sell auto parts in the markets of Asia. Contracts of purchase of buses amounting to almost a half million Euro were signed. During the visit the guests from Singapore are expected to be hosted by Head of the Belarusian state Alexander Lukashenko. Also meetings with the distinguished guest in both chambers of parliament are scheduled. Besides, a visit to the Hi-Tech Park, to the Nesvizh Reserve Museum and National library is also provided for.
