90 million euro for development of domestic medicine allocated by World Bank

The money will cover spending on protective equipment and test systems. Hospitals will also be modernized and equipped with tomographs. The project will be carried out throughout the country. Also, part of the money will be used to inform the public in the context of the coronavirus pandemic.

By the way, the development of all the documentation and the signing of the contract took place online.

Vladimir Karanik, Minister of Health of Belarus: "Initially, it was a credit line of 20 million. But we are counting on long-term work aimed at increasing the stability of the functioning of the whole health systems under any conditions. As we always say, a pandemic comes and goes, and people always need medical help!"

Part of the payments will take place in the coming weeks. And the whole project will be implemented before the end of the year.
