The OSCE mission consists of three groups of observers. They were interested in the formation and activities of the commissions, as well as in the process of registering candidates and providing them with campaigning opportunities. Besides, the mission expressed a desire to participate in a meeting of the regional election commission.
17 parliamentary seats are being claimed by 75 candidates in the Gomel region.
