Belarus has a strong power, no one holds it with outstretched fingers. This was stated by President Alexander Lukashenko at the meeting dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Constitution of Belarus, BelTA informs.

"You should be firmly convinced, I have already openly mentioned it on the eve of the National Assembly: no one holds the power with outstretched hands. No one in the world," emphasized the Belarusian leader.

He cited the example of the U.S. and its positioning itself as a model of democracy. "What kind of democracy it is... The last elections showed what kind of "democracy" it is. A gun from behind the belt - and shoots without looking," said Alexander Lukashenko. - The girl, who defended American interests - was shot and that's it (murder of former American servicewoman Ashley Babbitt in the Capitol on January 6, 2021. - BELTA note). And there are quite many of them. So this is what we saw live on TV."

"That's why I explicitly said to make Westerners and others realize that there is a strong government in Belarus. We often talk about it. But no one will hold it with outstretched fingers," emphasized the head of the Belarusian state.

In this regard, he mentioned the recent elections of deputies of various levels and some claims from opponents.
