Today, the CEC Chairman met with the head of the mission. Lydia Yermoshina personally handed the accreditation certificate to Jacques Faure. During the meeting, Jacques Faure informed the Belarusian side, who will be working in the mission, how they plan to conduct their work, and asked the CEC to assist in the provision of documents and establishing contacts. Lidia Yermoshina guaranteed that such assistance will be provided.
At the moment 11 observers of the OSCE mission arrived in Belarus. The rest, about 40 people, will arrive in the country next week.
