Situation in east of Ukraine discussed in Minsk

The Tripartite Contact Group is working under Steinmeier formula. This was stated today by the OSCE Special Representative to the Tripartite Contact Group, Martin Sajdik. 

Martin Sajdik, OSCE Special Representative to the Tripartite Contact Group: "First of all, I would like to note the progress in the implementation of decisions on the restoration of the bridge in Lugansk. The current truce, which entered into force on  July 21, is the longest since the beginning of the conflict". 

Nevertheless, Sajdik noted that the number of ceasefire violations increased dramatically in recent times and called the parties to obey their commitments. The terms of the exchange of prisoners under the formula "all for all" have not yet been agreed upon. On Tuesday, October 1, Minsk will host the next meeting of the Tripartite Contact Group for the settlement of the situation in the east of Ukraine.
