Today, the President of Belarus has set priorities for the country's further development amid the sanctions.

In his speech in the Palace of Independence, the Belarusian leader assessed the consequences and suggested measures to minimize the impact of sanctions on the economy and people. Belarus does not tolerate dictatorship and pressure and counter-measures against the West are regarded as a forced response, emphasized the President. On the other hand, the situation in Belarus is not unique: the planet has many examples of discrimination when hegemonic countries unreasonably infringe on the rights of other nations without regard to international law. Today, it is a way to get rid of competitors and weaken the integration ties.

Alexander Lukashenko is confident that it is necessary to use the sanctions pressure for good. This is an impetus to the Belarusian manufacturers. They have to saturate the market with domestic goods. But at the same time it is important not to allow prices to rise. The President warned that profiteering on people, using "gray schemes" of sales bypassing the law, is unacceptable. The head of state instructed the government, local authorities and the parliament to develop measures to support domestic producers. Maximum assistance will be provided to those wishing to occupy the domestic market. And if governors need additional powers for fast decisions, they must be introduced without delay.
