President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko pointed to high activity of foreign intelligence services in the territory of the country. He said this at a meeting with heads of delegations participating in the 19th session of the Meeting of Heads of Security Bodies and Intelligence Services of the CIS member states, BelTA informs.

"We see the activity of foreign intelligence services in our territory. The forms of their work are becoming more and more aggressive. Not just spies, but already terrorist agents are being sent to us," said the head of state. - They are trying to create extremist cells, form some regiments of our fugitives, attract mercenaries.

Alexander Lukashenko stressed that he's not exaggerating, but on the contrary, he can't say everything openly in this matter: "You understand me. We, together with the Russian Federation, have probably already detained a dozen or two groups of terrorists, primarily seeking to carry out terrorist operations in Russia and Belarus.

Evidence of this are the high-profile actions in Machulishchi (when they tried to attack a military airfield and destroy Russian equipment), Grodno, attempts to undermine the railroad in different regions of the country. "What this is done for, I don't need to explain to you," Alexander Lukashenko remarked.
