The details of the meeting of Presidents of Belarus and Azerbaijan Alexander Lukashenko and Ilham Aliyev in St. Petersburg were published by BelTA.
The heads of state discussed the upcoming visit of the President of Belarus to Azerbaijan.
As for the economy, they agreed that the responsible persons from the intergovernmental commission and the governments of the two countries will work out a plan of measures of joint work for the coming years. This will include joint cooperation projects in industry, agriculture, construction and military-industrial complex.
The President of Azerbaijan confirmed Belarus' offer to participate in the modernization and construction of infrastructure facilities in Karabakh.
Naturally, they also discussed the international agenda - the Azerbaijani leader informed his Belarusian counterpart in detail about the situation in the Caucasus.
