The preparations for the All-Belarusian People's Assembly are at the finish line. Less than a week remains before the most important political event.
All organizational details were discussed today at the level of the President. As you know, this time the assembly will be held in a new constitutional status. The National Assembly is entrusted with an important mission to determine the strategic directions of development of the society and the state.
To ensure the inviolability of the constitutional system, continuity of generations, civil accord. Holding such a large-scale political event requires a lot of efforts: inviting delegates, transportation logistics, formation of the agenda, preparation of documents necessary for the work, arrangement of places for secret voting, which is provided by law for the election of the chairman of the National Assembly, the presidium and much more. All the preparations were carried out thoroughly. The President demands perfect organization of the work of the All-Belarusian Assembly.
The readiness for the forum of all those involved was discussed today at a meeting at the Palace of Independence. This is the seventh All-Belarusian Assembly in the country's sovereign history. But this year it will be held for the first time in a new high status - constitutional (it is stipulated in the updated Basic Law). Now the All-Belarusian National Assembly is the highest representative body of the people's power. It will determine the strategy of development of society and the state, ensure civil harmony and the inviolability of the constitution.
