Chair of Council of the Republic Mikhail Myasnikovich points to large number of worthy candidates in local elections.
Mikhail Myasnikovich, Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus: "These are people who are trying to do something directly within their constituency, the city, this is the personnel reserve, these people want to build their own country, and this should be welcomed."
And their opinions are shared by political scientists. Vadim Borovik noted that it is the local councils that are well aware of what their region needs.
