Minsk to host CIS Heads of State in 10 days

Two major summits - meetings of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council and the CIS Council - are to be held in 10 days in Minsk. Moreover, the Ukrainian delegation will hold consultations with high-level representatives of the Common Economic Space. Alexander Lukashenko stressed that all the CIS Heads of State had confirmed participation in the summit. The main issue will be the Eurasian Economic Union Treaty with a list of limitations and exceptions to free trade. According to the President, the meeting is the key event in Belarus' CIS presidency. The summit will be held at the Palace of Independence. The Head of State paid special attention to organizational issues demanding to provide the most comfortable conditions for the summit participants.
