President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that he had met with members of the Russian Security Council the previous day at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin. He said this to journalists in the Kremlin, reports BELTA.

The head of state noted that he discussed various issues with individual members of the Security Council. "Yesterday was the Security Council. Vladimir Vladimirovich invited me to the Security Council, I was able to talk to all members of the Russian Security Council on certain issues. I talked to the defense minister, the director of the FSB, foreign intelligence. And Sergei Lavrov was there, the foreign minister. So I was able to discuss the issues that we need. And just to talk. It's very important in diplomatic relations," said the Belarusian leader.

The presidents also discussed the topic of security. "This is the most important issue for us. And do not think that we have devoted all our time to Ukraine. For us, the process that is going on there is absolutely clear. The media, especially in Russia, are absolutely correct in their assessment of the situation in Ukraine - everything that is happening there. They lack not only shells there - there are not enough people. That's why the rating of Ukrainian President Zelensky has fallen from 98% to 14% or 30%. The fall is very serious," the head of state emphasized.
