Goods that will apply for the State Quality Mark must be flawless and competitive in international markets. This was stated by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko during a tour of the exposition in the Palace of Independence prepared specially for the meeting of the head of state on quality improvement in 2024, which is declared the Year of Quality in Belarus.
The exhibition "Quality Mark: Tradition of the Past and Present" presents the products of the best enterprises of the country that have preserved high quality since the times of the Soviet Union. There are various products of domestic brands - from the food industry to machine building. The samples can be divided into two categories - those that were awarded the quality mark of the USSR, as well as the products that claim the modern State Quality Mark of the Republic of Belarus in 2024. For example, MAZ and MTZ vehicles - MAZ-53352 truck and MTZ tractor - were among the first to receive the quality mark in the Soviet times. Now these enterprises have also offered their products to be labeled with the quality mark of modern Belarus. Among the applicants are engines of Minsk Motor Plant, TV sets Gorizont, combines of Gomselmash, confectionery products of Kommunarka, fabrics of Kamvol.
