The level of economic cooperation between Belarus and Cuba should correspond to the level of political relations and humanitarian interaction. This was stated by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko at a meeting with Prime Minister of Cuba Manuel Marrero Cruz, BelTA informs.
"I'm happy to see an envoy of the Island of Freedom in Belarus. We have always maintained warm and friendly relations with you. You should know that we will continue to adhere to these approaches," emphasized Alexander Lukashenko.
The head of the Cuban government arrived in Belarus on November 9 on an official visit. He is also scheduled to hold talks with Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko, heads of both chambers of the Belarusian Parliament and members of the working group of the National Assembly for cooperation with the Parliament of Cuba. During his visit to Belarus, Manuel Marrero Cruz will familiarize himself with its industrial potential and opportunities for processing meat and dairy raw materials.
