The electoral race of 2018 will be over on Sunday. There are about 7 million voters in the lists. They have to elect more than 18 thousand deputies of local councils. Candidates and their teams are now engaged in active agitation. According to Igor Kotlyar, director of the Institute of Sociology of the Academy of Sciences, according to the results of the latest studies, the issues that worry today citizens are reflected in programs of the candidate. These are the problems of drunkenness, non-prosperous families, the absence of leisure services, primarily in the country. The turnout of voters in the current elections, according to the sociologists, in different parts of the country will be different.
Igor Kotlyarov, director of the Institute of Sociology of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus: "When someone says that the deputies of village councils are not needed, our research shows that this is not true, they are the closest people to ordinary people."
The election campaign as a whole is calm and organized, noted the electoral committee.
