Interview that can save humanity – reaction of West to meeting between Putin and Carlson

9 февраля 2024

High demand for the truth. The Web is discussing the interview of journalist Tucker Carlson with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The interview, published at night on February 9 in the social network X, has already gained more than 100 million views.

From hate to admiration. German magazine Compact has rightly pointed out that it is already the interview of the year. While public outrage is growing, the winner has already been decided - it is the TV presenter himself, who traveled to Moscow and collected millions of views, wrote journalists from the Austrian newspaper Exxpress. The Spanish press - El Pais newspaper - did not stand aside: "Carlson's visit to Moscow took place at a time when the fighting in Ukraine has reached a stalemate and against the backdrop of a growing split in the Republican Party over Putin, the special operation and aid to Ukraine".

Western intelligence agencies, through the mouths of propagandists, have been so diligently fomenting Russophobia and pitting nations against each other. And here Americans were given the opportunity to learn what really caused the Ukrainian conflict. The interview became a lecture to Western society.

"Do you think NATO is concerned that this could all escalate into a global war or even a nuclear conflict?" - Tucker Carlson asked in the interview.

Vladimir Putin:

“Thinking people (not ordinary people, but thinking people), analysts, those involved in real politics, just smart people understand perfectly well that this is a fake. The Russian threat is being hyped. This is just a scaremongering for the common people, in order to get additional money out of the US taxpayers, to get additional money out of the taxpayers of Europe in the confrontation with Russia in the Ukrainian theater of military operations. The goal is to weaken Russia as much as possible.”

Western elites do not want to hear the truth - they are forbidden. But ordinary Americans and Europeans would like to know it. Despite attempts to shield the Western viewer, who is being nurtured in a propaganda isolator, from an alternative point of view (foreign search engines have even lost mention of Carlson's interview with Putin), the material is rapidly gaining tens of millions of views around the world on all possible platforms. Thousands of citizens thank Carlson for quality journalism and criticize the actions of the authorities.

"Putin talked to Tucker Carlson for two hours about Russian history, the war in Ukraine and major geopolitical shifts. All unscripted. Biden just confused the president of Egypt with the president of Mexico. The US empire is in ruins," writes a commentator on the Internet.

Ex-intelligence officer of the US Armed Forces Scott Ritter generally believes that this interview can save humanity: "This is one of the most important interviews of the modern era, because it can keep the West and Russia from war, stop the West from committing suicide".

The demand for the truth was extremely high. It has broken through the torrents of lies. But it is unrealistic to expect freedom of speech and pluralism of opinion to return to the United States for the first time in many years. The vivid reaction to the interview only exposed the fact that the West is extremely indignant over its own failed propaganda against Russia and Belarus, which they are trying to cover up with illegal unilateral sanctions. It is time for someone to recognize that the information war unleashed against our countries is doomed to failure.
