The situation at the border, responding in kind to sanctions threats, finishing harvest campaign and countering pandemic. The hottest and most pressing issues were touched upon by the President in his conversation with the government on November 11.
There are positive trends in agriculture as well as in the situation with coronavirus. Firstly, we have a good harvest. Secondly, there is a decline in the incidence of Covid. Serious attention is now focused on migrants on the border, as the inhumane position of the Polish authorities is outrageous. The President's instruction is to take care of the children and pregnant women. The NATO activity near our borders and attempts to bring arms to the refugees on the border are also a cause for concern. The sanctions pressure on Belarus is unmitigated. Here the position is unequivocal: if we have to, we will respond in kind.
