Minsk residents engage in active voting

By Alexei Adashkin: Minsk is the place of the highest competition at the parliamentary election. In some precincts there are 7 candidates per vacancy. In 2008 the competition was twice lower. Local residents go to the polls, like if it were a holiday. The peak of voter turnout is expected in the afternoon, as many residents went to the country, because of good weather.
