The support of the President of Belarus helped her in the space flight. Marina Vasilevskaya spoke about it in an exclusive interview to the TV News Agency from space, while being on the International Space Station.
The head of state was watching the flight of the Belarusian cosmonaut and her crew colleagues. The tremendous work, participation, care and concern of the President for the crew were felt at every stage.

“The crew of the station is friendly, received us cordially. Oleg Novistky helps us both in everyday matters and in carrying out planned experiments. I feel attention and kind attitude of the whole crew. The project took place thanks to the personal participation of the President of our country Alexander Lukashenko. I feel the care and support of the head of state all the time, and it helps me a lot in the space flight.”
