At noon the 22nd International Book Fair will open in Minsk. 28 countries will be participating in the Fair. This year's forum will be held in the National Exhibition Centre "Belexpo".
It promises to be the largest Book Fair in the history of the capital. Among the largest expositions are those of Germany, France, Iran and the United Kingdom.
The title of the guest of honor was given to China this time. During the exhibition Belarusian and Chinese parties intend to sign a memorandum of mutual transfers of editions of literary works in both countries over the next five years. The central exhibitor of Minsk International Book Fair will be the Russian booth.
Within the framework of the forum an international symposium "Writer and time" will be held. Writers from 16 countries confirmed their participation in it. The book fair will be open till February 15.
