New draft of Education Code discussed in Minsk

The discussion of the new draft of the Education Code continues in Belarus. The representatives of authorities, teachers, parents examine the amendments from different angles. The meeting was held in Oktyabrsky District of the capital. There were about 20 points in discussion. Among them is distance learning, transition to universal secondary education. Liberalizing the teacher-student-parent process is also taken into account so that pupils could study in peace, parents were sure that their children will be taught and teachers were sure that their work would not be interfered with and they would be able to perform their duties.

For example, the educational institution will designate dates, when a parent can apply for information, so as not to interfere with the educational process.
